The National Broadcasting Company (NBC) has been a history-sheeter behind brining numerous quality TV shows, seasoned premiers & thrilling episodes like: The Blacklist ,Blind Spot ,Cheers & The Office to name a few . Even people who don’t much about the channel are addicted to its all-time favorite programs.
An interesting thing that people might don’t know is that NBC carries a long history even before its TV -line invention.
Talking about NBC‘s corporate logo revival – the logo has been made universal to color televisions & HD as technology paced up. With NBC’s merger & acquisitions with different other television channels , the logo branding was widespread across other networks like, CNBC, NBCSN, MSNBC, Golf Channel, and Comcast SportsNet.
The logo mark was also being used as a corporate emblem to represent the network’s parent company, the NBC Universal, until Comcast acquired the company in 2011 & since then, the vibrant peacock has been the universal corporate trademark for Comcast.

The three standing bars: red, green & blue, which set the floor later for more brightly- painted logos – were introduced soon after General Electric buys majority stake in NBC. Though the logo enjoyed a long decade but eventually swapped by the logo that defines the ‘NBC today’.
NBC today can be recalled by a spectrum of several different logos behind with most of them just the distilled version of the ‘Peacock’ in 6 amusing rainbow color variants.
The original 3 color palates that NBC started off with are now widely tottered throughout the new colors. With the old hat peacock logo being matte, the chic NBC logo mark is added with a reflective color shine to represent the 20’s, 3D looks for the brand & it’s fast customers. The peacock logo is 30 years old now & will continue to be the crown- mark for the business for upcoming many years.
